North Pole 2012

In 2012 Ed Coats and Alan Chambers helped ‘Six Ordinary Men’ to achieve an extraordinary goal of reaching the North Pole. Ed was both a guide and doctor on the ice for the team. Alan Chambers led the team over the difficult terrain and together with Ed’s help they made it to the Top of The World raising a huge sum for charity. Their success was due to a great teram spirit throughout their time on the ice. The trip was captured by Channel 5 for a documentary programme called ‘North Pole Ice Airport’.
